Our History

We are proudly celebrating our 55th Season of dance excellence in WNY! David De Marie himself started DDD in Clarence Hollow in a small studio in 1968. It has since grown to be one of the most respected and well known dance schools in our area. When David left us in 1988, his partner, Leonard Castilone continued and expanded the traditions of DDD for 30 years. In 2018, upon Leonard's retirement, his niece Ashleigh was proudly given the opportunity to pursue the studio and carry on its admirable reputation in WNY. As we celebrate the 55th year of David De Marie Dance, we proudly carry on David's legacy and pristine quality of dance education. Behind us are all of the wonderful memories...before us... we are steadfast in fulfilling his dreams for David De Marie Dance. Here's to an amazing 55th Season!

Our Mission

Our mission at DDD is to instill a great love of dance, while inspiring self-confidence, discipline and respect in a nurturing environment. We provide a solid technical foundation for the developing dancer, and our goal is to give each individual dancer the tools they need to take dance as far as they dream to take it. We believe if you can dream it you can achieve it!

Our instructors are skilled at identifying the specific needs of each student. We believe in an enriching education and we recognize that every student has different aspirations as a dancer. Whether recreational or competitive, we are invested in guiding each child down the path that we feel best suits them as a dancer.

It is clear that the discipline, focus and artistic enlightenment of dance creates success in all aspects of life. Dance education contributes to the development of responsible, dedicated, determined, and creative adults in society.

At DDD, we are a family. We respect each other, support each other and work together.

"To dance together is to work together. In working together we find love. To love is to be united. We are UNITED."
